Screen-Play Formatting

We've been instructed to write our short film for submission on CAIE on Fade-In.

Here are some few instructions while constructing our script on Fade-In:

- SLUG LINE ( SCENE HEADING )

• mention of interior and exterior location 
• day ( morning , evening , night ) 

-  ACTION ( DESCRIPTION OF SCENE )

• should be in present tense
• what is happening in the scene?

-  CHARACTERS ( ACTORS IN A SCENE )

• should be in full caps and should be in the center
• an important element in the production team

-  PARATHETICAL 

• should be written in brackets under character name
• an emotion to be written e.g. angry , happy
  

-  DIALOGUE
