Composition (Theory )

 Composition refers to how the elements on screen appear in respect to each other and within the frame itself.

Composition can contain a lot of terms ;

Rule of Thirds is a composition guideline that places your subject in left or right third of an image, leaving the other two thirds open.

  • Look-Room is the space that the subject is looking towards in the frame , your subject should be the majority in the frame. If you are using the rule of thirds your character will have the 2/3 of the frame.
  • Head-Room is the space that is between the top of the subject's head and top of the frame
