 We showed our offline edit to our school teacher , he suggested some changes in which we have to re-shoot a particular scene so we would be doing that on Wednesday, February 1st 2023.

 I had asked a friend of mine living in Lahore if she has any male friends willing to voice over for our short film so here are the screenshots of our conversation.

 We have spent a round 7k on the shoot which took around 3 days which we would divide in two as we are working in the group.  Our shoot is over, and we are working on the next phase, editing/post-production.

 

 

 

A friend of ours had helped us make blood as previously we had failed miserably , this time he used food color, cornstarch and honey. I have also attached a BTS video (below) of the failed blood.  FAILED ATTEMPT ON MAKING BLOOD BTS  

 

Choosing wife's costume (my) was the most difficult thing.  I wasn't able to decide whether clothing should be according to the new modern wives of Pakistan even OR according to original culture/religion in Pakistan.  But, after asking from my family and friends they recommended recommended me Shalwar Kameez to represent my Pakistani origin and culture. Here are the pictures of the costume I chose, 

 

 We will be using Canon M50 with a 50 mm lens.

  The second location we chose was Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Bahria Phase 7. Other cafes were asking a lot of rent just to shoot for an hour or so but they cooperated a lot and let us shoot for FREE!!

We needed an office space for few scenes in our short film.  In Bahria Phase 7 , there is a place DaftarKhwan Vantage that is a co-working space available on rent for such shoots. The rent was reasonable so we have opted for this place.

 Mohammad as the Cinematographer and Editor and I would be the Director and Producer.

 We are almost done with our pre-production and would be working on the shoot of our project from Saturday , 14th January and would be wrapping up in two three days.

 We had to start back in December 2022 but we couldn't find someone suitable for the role of wife and people who we asked backed out last minute.  We had searched but no one agreed so I myself would act as the wife while my other team member would handle the camera.
